Marketing Manager

About the position:

The successful candidate will work closely with regional brand teams (Merchandising, Retail Operation and Operation), country marketing teams and partners in APAC region.  He/she will manage and facilitate country market teams the development of enduring brand strategies and compelling brand communication and commercial programs to achieve both brand and business goals. 


Principal Job Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate and guide markets in developing a tactical marketing plans and budget based on the global brand strategies and market business goals
  • Manage and help market to execute their marketing and media plan
  • Plan and own the regional project calendar and manage the timeline of all regional driven project from planning to roll out
  • Plan the regional budget with Brand marketing Director and manage the regional budget
  • Own the Commercial Planning template calendar – ensure all markets submission on time and provide related info/materials to markets
  • Drive an effective go-to-market process by partnering with regional functional partners and country marketing teams to ensure smooth and clear communication
  • Discuss, review and feedback on markets marketing budget and media plan of local markets
  • Maintain a constant flow of communication with markets and make sure all marketing materials and important message are delivered properly and drive synergy
  • Work closely with different function teams towards timely and accurate completion of multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ensure all marketing materials and activities are consistent and comply with the global brand guidelines and support local markets and provide guidance when appropriate
  • Consolidate local input/feedback for global and share best practices from global with local markets
  • Retain strong working relations between the external parties and the company


Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years of solid Marketing managerial experience in a similar role in the industry (apparel or fashion accessories), preferably within a multi-site environment
  • With at least 2-3 years regional experience in Asia preferably from fashion and jewelry
  • Degree in business or marketing
  • Superior communication, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Flexible and adaptable in a dynamic and fast paced environment
  • Strong organization and planning skills
  • Can work under minimal supervision and meet tight deadlines
  • True team player with a strong sense of initiative and a “can do” attitude
  • A thorough understanding of multi-site concept stores including new store openings
  • Good interpersonal and presentation skills
  • Good communication skills in English, Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin)
