Pandora Ethics

Our CSR and compliance programme Pandora Ethics covers all Group activities, from design and choice of materials, through sourcing and crafting to trading and after sales services.

Pandora Ethics consist of our Ethics policies and guidelines as well as a range of monitoring and controlling tools that aim to ensure that we honor our commitments within human rights, environment, health & safety, business ethics and ensure responsible supplier dialogue and auditing.

Our Pandora Ethics policies and guidelines cover the 10 principles defined by the United Nations Global Compact and they are fully aligned with the more than 120 provisions of the Responsible Jewellery Council’s Code of Practices defining honest and responsible business practices within the jewellery value chain.

We continuously engage with all business entities and units to ensure a successful integration of the Pandora Ethics programme. Activities include but are in no way limited to:

  • Regular monitoring of our anti-corruption programme to review the suitability, adequacy and effectiveness.
  • Mandatory Code of Ethics e-learning module for all employees implemented in 2015. Our Code of Ethics set our ethical aspirations as a company and our expectations to responsible staff behaviour. A new Code of Ethics and e-learning programme will be rolled out in 2018
  • Dedicated CSR e-learning modules that enables us to reach the more than 30,500 sales people globally engaged in selling Pandora jewellery in stores
  • The integration of Pandora Ethics into existing induction programmes for new employees
  • Pandora Ethics section on the company intranet as well as group-wide distribution of annual Ethics Reports and Pandora Ethics Posters
  • Continuous news feeds on Pandora's initiatives and progress within CSR related issues
